War Revenge And Total Annihilation (CD 2006)

Deck-ung!!! Mehr als genug sorgen diese zwei kraftvollen Silben dafür, den Inhalt des gebotenen Black-Metal-Kampfes zu umschreiben. Hier wird geballert und gebombt was das Zeug hält. Es sprudelt vor Aggressivität, Zerstörungswut und Angriffslust! Melodien gibt es hier wenige, wenn überhaupt, von Keyboard oder sonstigem ganz zu schweigen. Die Drums werden durchweg geknüppelt und unterziehen sich einer immensen Misshandlung, so dass sich kaum eine ruhige Sekunde finden lässt. Eigentlich wäre es für Genre-Standards paradox, wenn ich jetzt sage, dass die Produktion ruhig etwas fetter hätte sein können, aber hier wäre das genau der Fall. Sieht man aber davon ab, finden sich immer mehr Aspekte, die zum erhöhten und vor allem zum durchaus positiven Wirkungsgrad des Releases beitragen. Da wäre zum Beispiel der ununterbrochene Fluss der Musik, der durch das Vermeiden der obligatorischen zwei Sekunden erhalten bleibt. Meiner Ansicht nach hätte das Album somit auch keine Unterteilung gebraucht, denn auch hier würde der eigentliche Titel "War Revenge And Total Annihilation" den zu beschreibenden Inhalt mehr als genug abdecken.
Doch eine komplette Fahrt im Spitzentempo wollten sich die Süd-Ost-Europäer dann doch nicht gönnen. So sind Songs wie "Majestic Black Dawn Arise" wenigstens in den Anfangssekunden den ruhigeren Gefilden der Geschwindigkeit zuzuordnen. "Glorious Inferno" kann sogar ohne wildes Geballer für ein paar unterhaltsame Minuten sorgen. Jedoch wäre es sinnvoller gewesen diesen Song als eine Art "Ruhe vor dem Sturm" an den Anfang zu stellen, so würde dieser vielleicht etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit erlangen und nicht im brodelnden Bombensturm untergehen.
Somit ist dieses Album durchaus gelungen, jedoch sei gesagt, dass man keine großen Ansprüche die Abwechslung betreffend haben sollte. Wer jedoch einen 38-Minuten-Krieg erleben möchte, dem sei zumindest das Reinlauschen auf alle Fälle empfohlen.

Run for cover!!! Just these three words can explain what awaits you when you have decided to hear the content of this Black-Metal-battle. Aggressiveness, destructiveness & total annihilation bubble out of the speakers. Melodies don't really exist, if at all, not to mention a keyboard or somewhat. The drums are bludgeoned throughout and they undergo themselves an immense abuse, so that there are no seconds to relax. Actually it would be paradox (if you think about the genre-standards), if I said, that the production could be a little bit better, I mean more powerful, but exactly that is the case. But if you don't pay to much attention on that, you will find more and more aspects, which contribute to the positive effectiveness of the release. For example the uninterrupted fluency of the music, who is received by the avoidance of the obligatory two seconds between the songs. Thus the album doesn't need a fragmentation, because the albumtitle "War Revenge And Total Annihilation" satisfies to cover the whole content.
However a complete trip through the regions of speed the south-east-europeans didn't want to do. So songs like "Majestic Black Dawn Arise" are more throttled & got more mid-tempo parts. "Glorious Inferno" avoids the blasting passages completely but it's although enjoyable. But it has had more sense if this track was adjusted on the inception of the CD, like a kind of "the silence before the storm", because then he might get more attention and would not perish inside the bomb-gustiness.
So this peace of war-infested music is really felicitous. At the end I want to add, that you mustn't await a big wave of alternation, but for all who want to experience a 38-minutes-war, I advise to get this smell of burning corpses.
