Dieses Album ist Scheisse. Und da ich nicht möchte, dass ihr mit dem Lesen der "Kritik" mehr Zeit verbringt
als Satan beim Komponieren ihres unerträglichen Ambient-BM-Gebräus, ist diese Rezension hiermit beendet.

Hmm, warum lest ihr eigentlich noch weiter? Habe ich mich unklar ausgedrückt? Oder wollt ihr ernsthaft wissen,
was genau an einer 0-Punkte-Scheibe schlecht ist? Und die simple Antwort "Alles" stellt euch auch nicht
zufrieden? Nun, dann werde ich das ganze Elend wohl etwas genauer beleuchten müssen...
Schon die ersten Augenblicke von "In Nomine Hirci" lassen keinen Zweifel daran aufkommen, wohin die Reise in
den nächsten 40 Minuten geht. Die Gitarren (?) sind ein monotones Summen, das "Schlagzeug" ein strukturloses,
recht schnelles Klopfen. Dieser Versuch Musik zu machen, ist so klar gescheitert, dass ich eigentlich von
"Musik" reden müsste. Und wenn man sich am Ende des ersten Liedes an etwas "Klargesang" versucht, dann wünscht
sich der Hörer ob des erbärmlichen Gejammers einen Stromausfall herbei. Grausam. Doch Besserung ist nicht in
Sicht: "Black Misanthropy" klingt zwar anders als der Albumauftakt, aber leider keinen Deut besser. Für die
langsame Gangart hat man sich hier entschieden, das kompositorische Niveau ist das gleiche - und die
Schlagzeugspur hat man wahrscheinlich vom ersten Lied übernommen und lediglich langsamer abgespielt. Tolle
Idee!
Das folgende "Human Extermination" ist eine überflüssige "Ambient"-Spielerei, aber zumindest weiß man nach
drei "Liedern", was Satan (Bandname des Jahres!) zu bieten haben: Schnell, langsam und besonders zum Ende des
Albums ausladende "Klangcollagen", die hörbar nur der Spielzeitverlängerung dienen. Noch viel mehr ist man
sich aber dessen bewusst, was die Italiener nicht zu Stande gebracht haben: in irgendeiner Form hörbare Musik.
Dieses Album ist Gestümper auf tiefstem Niveau, eine Beleidigung für die Ohren. Damit ist - diesmal wirklich! -
alles gesagt, sogar mehr als das; ich kann also diese Besprechung (bzw. Warnung) beenden und "In Nomine Hirci"
dem Mülleimer überantworten. Endlich. |

This album is crap. And because of the fact that I don't want you to spend more time reading this "review"
than Satan in composing their unsufferable Ambient-BM-mixture, this review is over now. Good night.

Hmm, why are you still reading? Didn't I express myself clearly? Or do you seriously want to know, what's
exactly wrong with a record marked 0? And the simple answer "everything" doesn't satisfy you? Well, then I
have to look at this misery in detail.
Already the first seconds of "In Nomine Hirci" leave no doubt in which direction our trip will turn the next
40 minutes. The guitars(?) are a monotonous buzzing, the "drums" a less structured, quite fast knocking. This
attempt of creating music has failed so clearly, that I should better talk about "music" instead. And as they
are trying some "clear vocals" at the end of the first song, the listener is longing for a black out, hearing
this miserable cant. But improvement is still not in sight. "Black Misanthropy" though sounds a bit different
than the anacrusis of the album, but is unfortunately in no way better. Trying some slower way of walking now,
the compositoric level is still the same - and it seems as if they have overtaken the drum patterns of the
first song and just played them a bit slower. Great idea!
The following "Human Extermination" is a spare "ambient playing", but at least after 3 "songs" we know what
Satan (name of the year) has to offer: Fast, slow and, especially at the end of the album, unloading "sounds",
that were listenably only made to extend the running time of the CD. What is perfectly clear, is what these
italiens were not able to create: music that one is able to listen to in any form. This album is bungling on
the lowest level, an insult for your years. So I guess now really everything is said and done, even more than
that; I can finish this review (or warning, to be correct) now und put "In Nomine Hirci" into the garbage.
